A great Stand Up and Mentalism Magic effect.
Imagine the Magician holds a slate that was examined by a spectator. He writes a prediction on it. The spectators make a free choice of, for instance, a country, a celebrity or an animal. THERE ARE NO FORCES. The choice is completely free. Finally, the prediction matches exactly. You can use any group of words. It is totally customizable. It works great for Parlor Magic or for Corporate Shows. You could use brand names, for example. It is a complete new concept created by Alejandro Muniz, FLASOMA 2017 Grand Prix winner (Latin American FISM). A Lousa was completely sold out at the last magic convention in Argentina (2018). * A Lousa can be examined * The prediction is always remains in full views * a spectator makes a free choice * no forces of any kind * very easy to do * use with words, numbers, figures, symbols, drawings, etc * fully customizable * ideal for corporate events * ideal for parlor magic * a great mentalism magic effect * brand new effect * no double writing * no stooges * no electronic device You receive: A specially built slate (13 x 11 inches - 33 x 27 cm) The necessary gimmicks to perform the effect Detailed English and Spanish online video tutorial, including many ideas, various different handlings and tips. 50 minutes of pure Magic. watch the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tbv5mUl0428 Best Martin Pacheco Bazar de Magia www.bazardemagia.com |

From the site is appears to be $85. I’m interested in learning more - especially if the technique can be applied to whiteboards.
Best, Drew

That looks pretty good...I'm wondering if it is repeatable with a second spectator with different outcome OR can it be done with multiple spectators/multiple words at once?

What is the number of elements that the spectator can choose from please? And is it self contained?
Best regards and happy new year 😄 |

I can guess how this works but I hope its more versatile then I think it is.
Am I limited to 4-5 cards or I can use more 'words' ? whats my limit? And ive seen someone comment something along the lines of the card they chose must touch the slate before I turn to reveal, is this true? because if it is true its seems like a horrible way to do it, what is the justification for this ? why would I do it? Hoping to see more details on this then the generic teaser, since for this price and outcome if its working as good as it sounds it can be a GREAT addon to anyone's show! |

The general method is pretty obvious from the trailer and description. But the crucial thing (how clean the procedure of getting the prediction onto the board is) isn't shown, therefore making it hard to judge if this is any good.

It’s a very clean procedure and extremely simple to do that shouldn’t attract any attention from your spectators.
Yes the spectator can freely choose any of the given words / numbers / symbols etc (whatever you decide to use) and can even change their mind if they should wish to do so. |

I look forward to your review Dooblehorn, after you receive this. That is if you choose to post one.

I'm curious where the "rumors" come from that say the freely selected card must be placed on the prediction face of the slate. If accurate, the deceptiveness of the effect will hinge on how well that move is justified. The fact that the demo omits it indicates that the marketers aren't convinced the move is a magician-fooler -- which in itself isn't a fatal flaw. All the forgoing speculation will be irrelevant if the "rumor" proves to be untrue.

The very fact you have to write out say four or five things for the spectator to choose things indicates that the boards definitely come together at some point imo. Olly
