Exactly, that's what I said earlier - spectator can unexpectedly change the number without magnеt. Which is not good at all.

Knowing from page 1 how the die must work and having Darkos set and also years ago the gravity one, it was simple to see this was a combo of both which inevitably would lead to problems and that sinking feeling after a few proving rolls.
Thanks for clearing that up Mark, let’s face it you could guess 1/6 and stand more chance of success if this has a 10% strike rate after doing the 2 proving rolls. Olly |

This is fine if you want to force 2 or even 3 numbers in quick succession, it allows you to do so without switching and it does it very reliably as far as I can tell so far. In this situation the fact that each participant rolls a different number rules out loaded dice making the need for test rolls redundant. This isn’t a bad product, it just has its limitations. This will force multiple numbers very quickly. A traditional die of this type will force a single number in a very fair and reliable way.

Yes Mark I am certainly not saying it’s rubbish just if you want 100% you have to play it as you describe.
With say a Darko or Kreis dice you can force 2 numbers in quick or slow succession even after the proving rolls with the areas of polarity set on a mat or Iain’s idea of a coaster is great as you just turn the coaster over on the off beat if both coaster sides match as mine do. It’s a great premise. Olly |

Yes although with Darko’s and similar if you need to force say 4 and 5 you have to switch dice and switch polarity. My clear set I have to switch dice which isn’t difficult. With these I don’t have to worry about switching or polarity and so these have a big advantage in certain situations.

Yes Mark to be fair I am not switching die as just forcing both ends of a particular die with the opposite polarity. Olly

A clear coaster or landing surface containing the necessary would be the ultimate Mark imo but even clear die sound amazing,
I can’t wait to see them. Olly |

There is a little more to this than meets the eye. Tried my other winners dice as I bought 2 at the weekend. This one has been 100 percent reliable even after about 30 test rolls, I also made some of those test rolls quite violent in an attempt to dislodge the internal gimmick. Either there is inconsistency in the build quality of I am doing something different with the second one without realising. I have not watched the instructions yet so there may be something in there that will shed some light on it.

Watched the vid and it talks about how to avoid problems. I am going to try tapping all the sides of my unreliable dice and see if this makes it as reliable as my second dice. I will report back in a day or two. Because this dice has let me down in the past I want to proper stress test it if it appears reliable after the tap method.

After doing the tap method on each side I have been able to do 100 test rolls and still get the force with my original die. These test rolls have been very aggressive and included dropping the die onto a hard floor from standing. I am starting to really like these. Will continue testing but since doing the tap on all sides I am getting 100 percent success even with test rolls.
My only concern is keeping the reset gimmick away from the performance gimmick. The reset one is so strong it can attract the other one from as far as 5 feet away, this will shatter the performance gimmick. I know this because both my performance gimmicks are now shattered. Fortunately replacements are pretty cheap. Mark |

5 feet? Wow that is one powerful magnet. Lmao.

Yes extremely powerful, enough to cause sparks when the other one hits it. Although it was actually about 3 feet about arms length the thing went flying across the table when I lifted the bowl up.

As I said it was less than 5 feet, it was approximately arms length which is not that surprising when both are very strong magnets although the reset one is by far the stronger of the two and also the only one to survive due to the thickness of it.
