That’s why I have never voted. I’m purchasing some books regularly but I’m still in the « old ones », always late !

My apologies for taking longer than wanted to get these results to you.

Wow, it has been an adventure getting this all wrapped up. Counting, recounting, eliminating the people who didn’t bother reading the rules, conspiracy theories, and even hijacking of threads. Some people overlooked that this is meant to be a fun, friendly competition.

So here you have the OFFICIAL results:

It was quite a race this year. Principia was the early leader by a good bit, but Repertoire caught up and took the lead. Meanwhile very steadily The Magic of Johnny Thompson held a solid 3rd spot through to the finish.

2018 Book of the Year results:
1. Repertoire by Asi Wind
2. Principia by Harapan Ong
3. The Magic of Johnny Thompson by Johnny Thompson and Jamy Ian Swiss

Some great reading found in all these pages of votes, so get reading!

Do the OFFICIAL results include a complete tally of all books that received votes? I often find the year's long list a useful resource.

(Somebody else did the work to count and post one earlier, but it was apparently deleted.)

I already seen some very strong contenders for best book of the year in 2019...
Most memorable moment - with Maestro Juan Tamariz & Consuelo Lorgia in FISM Busan 2018.

Crossing Over and Supervision from Repertoire were gifts to other performers out there.
