I received an email last week advertising Mickey Mouse coloring books. But, I accidentally deleted it. Does anyone know who is selling them? I thought it was Silly Billy but I can’t find it on his site.

I assume you're talking about a Mickey version of the magic coloring book? I receive a lot of the magic newsletters and emails, but don't remember seeing it. However, they do sell them in Tokyo DisneySea. I was there a few months ago with my kids and saw them.
Disney is pretty uptight about selling the rights to their characters/stuff, so perhaps the item you saw was unlicensed and had to "disappear" quickly. (Still not sure how Aprende Magia got away with Lost Fish, but I picked one up in case they suddenly became unavailable.) Anyway, that might be the case with the coloring book. I live in Japan, so if I see one in a store in Tokyo, I'll PM you and can send one to you, if you need it for a gig. |

Thanks.
I’m not talking about your average kids coloring book, but one used by Magicians. |

I'm pretty sure that's what dmoriarty1 meant when he posted "I assume you're talking about a Mickey version of the magic coloring book?"...

They had the Mickey coloring book, as well as trick decks (Rising card, etc.) with Mickey backs. They have a pretty neat little collection of Mickey-themed magic. The last time I was there, I bought Mickey sponge balls. |

Abbeylane,
May I ask why you're looking specifically for a Mickey Mouse magic coloring book? Does it fit into a bigger routine, or did you hear these books were better quality than the ones usually available on most magic websites? I use the regular books for kids shows, and the kids don't seem to care what the pictures are. To anyone following this thread and interested in these Mickey magic coloring books, I'll be going to Tokyo Disneyland and Disney Sea at the end of February, so let me know if you'd like one and I'll keep my eyes open. D. |
