Hi all,
Santa (meaning me) was very good to me this Christmas. I finally got my copy of Clever Inventions and Pleasantries, which was written in France at the same time as Scot's Discoverie of Witchcraft. Here are some highlights: Tricks not found elsewhere Lots of feats, ie. cutting three straws to make nine New variations of tricks found in DoW and Hocus, Pocus Junior. And best of all: the author in every case goes into detail on how to do the trick. I got mine at Midwest Magic for about $50.00--very good service, but there is a glitch sometimes when you click on something, ie. it puts you on an entirely unrelated page. I have not had any problems concerning unauthorized purchases on the credit card I used. I will write more on this later after I have had chance to read through it. HLT |
