I carry Mental Yarn in my wallet as well as a Magicard, a double headed nickel, a dime-and-penny coin, and a steel cored penny.
I have business cards, pocket change and bills, a pocket datebook, a pen, a pen-thru-anything, a chain (around my neck), a finger ring, and a watch. In my coat I have a tt, a magnet, and a haunted key. Nothing that looks unusual, but enough to do an entire show if needed. Tony |

I tend to have heirloom in my wallet, a loop on my wrist (if I think far enough ahead) other than that, if I can borrow a pen I'll do a recapped routine or I'll borrow a business card and do a torn and restored effect.
If it's impromptu at a party, I've been known to ask the host to mix up some flour and water, get a couple of 2 euro coins and a scarf and do psychic style routine whilst blindfolded - that fits in well at parties in someone's home, but not so practical for work on the street! I carried around some healed and sealed supplies for a while, but the chance to actually do it outside of my home without carrying round ready 'done' cans hardly ever presented itself, so I stopped. |

After meeting Gregory Wilson, all I carry around is change (and that's only if I'm heading to a remote location where there might not be money around... like Mars). If I'm just out and about, nothing. You'd be suprise how much magic you can do if you just look around. No seriously.

It is on his Miracles While-U-Wait video. Very entertaining and you don't have to go to the bathroom or a dark corner of the world to re-set it (it re-sets as you do it). Doug P.S. I just plain recommend this Video. Very worthwhile! |

I used to carry a hip pack loaded for bear. I used to quip to my friends in the know that this is my $1,000.00 bag (more like $250.00). Now I have gotten turned on to the Black Tiger and Ghost Bikes (ellusionist.com) and the gaff they made for both decks. VERY VERY COOL! Now I'll carry one or the other with 1 or 3 gaffs and either the pyro perception or a micro ITR for a haunted deck or rising card effect.
I'm much happier now and so are my sheeple. Doug |

It takes like 2 seconds of set-up but I also have a rope routine I love from Fiber Optics.

I am almost always armed with a deck of cards, but when I'm caught off-guard I'll do a tenkai throw vanish with a business card or a revolution vanish (Ellusionist's coin vanish). Sometimes, if I'm sitting down near a pack of sugar or I can get one quickly, I'll do a coin or ring in sugar packet trick.

Normally nothing, but if I think I'm actually going to be telling people I'm a magician, then just a TT and either Haunted Key or Cosmosis.
For those who believe, no explanation is necessary. For those who do not, none will suffice.
A magician is an actor playing the part of a magician. Don't run when no-one's chasing you. |

I always carry simple things, folding dollar, floating match, and gimmicked coins. since a stroke my sleight really suffered. had to quit showing people at work though,a few had a bad habit of grabbing my props and asking "how does that work?"
seriously thought about letting them grab a nice razor blade. |

A wonderland bill, a pack of bills for Slow Burn, and a Hopping Half set gives you a whole routine and as they say; packs small and plays big. If I am not in a mood for mentalism...or willing take the time and make the effort for a real routine.

Hi, this is my first experience of this forum. It is interesting to read what different people like to carry - I've already looked up a few of the suggestions as they are new to me. For my own part my current favourites are 'Phil Plus' (Lucy) and Nynam's 'Dead Of Night'. Also I find some flash paper and 'Wiregrams' always go down well.
