Hello Magic Café,
I have lurked in the Café for years, reading reviews and finding recommendations, but finally pulled myself together enough to register. I have been working as a physical comedian for a decade, and have dabbled in magic since I was a teenager, but over the last two years, I have decided to incorporate magic into my performing repertoire. I have a very broad personal interest in magic, cards, coins, mentalism, bizarre, and have professional interest in children's magic (kids are always getting born, and parents always want to treat their children to memorable birthdays.) Anyways, I am glad to finally participate in this community, and am happy to lend what little knowledge I have, and am excited to learn a lot. |

Welcome IncantoMagic,
What is a Physical Comedian? A Mime, Clown, funny face maker, Pratt faller? Can't wait to hear. Kids are an open and honest Audience and they elevate their older family member's reactions to Magic as well. -Mary Mowder |

My company makes slapstick comedy shows. We are clowns, but when we say we are clowns, people get the expectation of freight wigs and big shoes, and we are more in the tradition of vaudeville and silent film, with strong vintage aesthetics, like classical aviators, or a maid and butler. We mostly tour the Canadian Fringe circuit with our work.
