Criteria for the holy grail of ACAANs, in my humble opinion, is that it has to be a free choice of card, free choice or obviously unpredictable number with the spectator then being allowed to count through the deck and turn over the card they get to. I would agree that from a non-magician perspective this idles not count as a holy grail illusion as all tricks are baffling, without explanation and defy reason. There are a lot of amazing effects out there but very few that have captured countless magician's minds and energies to be able to create the perfect ACAAN on a parr with Berglass's. Without this pursuit of magician's, it would not be so legendary.

Psychological Card Forces by Peter Turner plus a timing !@#$e in spectator hands
That is the Holy grail in my opinion, and this is one of the rare moments were you are doing what you are saying. You say that you will influence them and you influence them. |

That one looks Great! What, it is great!, THanks for sharing!
Actually if you by for## mean psy for##, that is one of the ways I present the ACAAN. Spectator shuffles the cards I look at the cards For## them the card I saw and the place. Cristóbal |

And since I posted that link, here's a link to Storm (which is so easy to do!): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nif2ydprQK0 This is an open forum, but yes, I'd do as you mention above, regarding the type of force. If it doesn't work, I can do something else, etc. Honestly though, if it doesn't work, I use an idea from Kenton Knepper and then either try the same kind of force or maybe just do the above (again, with a change in the framing of the effect). The idea fron Kenton... I want to say it is in Kentonism, but I may be wrong. It's a discussion regarding the difference between subconscious and conscious decisions, and I use it all the time (not in the same performances, obviously). As an aside, that idea from Kenton Knepper was something that slipped by me the first time I read it, but is SO USEFUL. Edit: Neither Advantageous nor Storm are ACAAN effects. For that type of effect, I think Applesauce or Horsefeathers (I think) would be more applicable, here's a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QWgyh1Na5iA&t=202s |

Please check regularly if you are becoming the type of magician Jerry Seinfeld jokes about. (This applies to mentalists as well.)
