Does anyone know where I can purchase Tarot cards? Although I don't know much about them, I am very interested in them and think a good mindreading routine could be made out of them?

Radiant Rider Wait Deck from U.S Games Systems. They have a great back design and the colours are vivid.

Wherever you buy your cards, spend a little while familiarising yourself with all of the different designs available.
Here is agood site to look at - they have good illustrations as well as reviews of a lot of different packs. http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/ For my own purposes, I settled on the Morgan Greer Tarot pack. Regards Matthew |

If you are in the UK you can pick from several deck designs from Borders book shops (usually near the health/spirituality/etc books). I even saw the Rider Waite deck selling in a small branch of WH Smith today.

The Universal Waite Tarot Deck is the one to get! The images are the same as in the traditional Rider-Waite Tarot Deck, but the garish and flat colors used in the Rider-Waite deck have been "updated" with more eye-pleasing pastels, etc. Definitely a much prettier and better-looking rendition of these traditional cards.

You can get tarot cards in the u.s. at any borders or barnes and noble bookstores. You can also look under new age in your phone book and make some calls, I'm sure they would carry them. As far as cards go, I love the thoth deck by crowley. It comes with basic instructions but you should get the book mirror of the soul by ziegler if you plan on getting the thoth deck and using it.

There are tons of amazing effects using tarot cards. Just take a look at:
http://www.online-visions.com/ Search Peter Marucci’s columns and also Kenton Knepper’s. BlackHart has plenty Tarot effects in his books. Paolo Cavalli has also a good one in his e-book Upsilon, and Christian Chelman also has a great one in Capricornian Tales. Just to metion the first ones that comes to mind. You will find Tarot decks very easily. Here is an amazing resource: http://tarot.llewellyn.com/ You can order from them. Try to learn at least a little bit of the meaning of the cards. |

Theres also some good effects in T.A. Waters' Mind Myth and Magick.
And as stated - check out Online Visions. Peter Marucci's "Fate" is one that I particularly like - great effect. |

I've seen tarot cards at book stores. Most larger book stores should have them. Check out your local Barnes and Noble or your local Borders.
