I've tried to find an answer to my question......but no luck!
I know I'm not imagining this: Some time ago, I bought one of Daryl's effects......it used standard Poker chips and had a fairly involved sequence. Is that 3 Fly III, with poker chips?? I just can't remember.......but it had a lot of promise!! Any ideas??

Instead of Daryl, you might be thinking of Lee Asher's Three Stylin', which is a Three-Fly routine with poker chips.

I seem to recall Daryl selling 3 Fly III with Poker chips at a lecture many years ago.

It's still around as a $4.95 download at Penguin.
I bought it from Daryl at Blackpool some years ago. It's quite good and came with ungimmicked $ size poker chips. http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/5734 |

Yes, Daryl released 3 Fly III with different colored poker chips to learn with (then you use 3 like coins to perform)
http://www.daryl.net/product_detail.php?id=558 Lee Asher has a product called "Three Stylin" A 3 different colored chip 3 fly (that actually fooled Penn and Teller) https://www.leeasher.com/store/three-sty......rial.php I have both and cannot decide which I like better. Daryl's version is a very simple and clean 3 fly with any 3 "like" coins and Asher's is very fooling (yet still simple) with 3 "unlike" colored chips. Both play very well and are easy enough for beginners.

^ What Poof-Daddy said.
Off topic a bit but take a look at Mark Mason's "Come Fly With Me". |

I would say that, if one is looking for a poker chip 3 Fly, then "Three Stylin" is the one you want. The Daryl trick is nice but as PD mentions, the chip part of it is really just a learning aide, to help you better absorb the movements of the coins. So, in real time, the chips have nothing to do with the actual effect.
Also, I believe you can get some 3 Fly action with poker chips out of something like Sucker Punch, and a whole lot more.

If anyone should ever doubt the power of a 3 Fly performance for lay people....Mark Mason performed it at every table at my wedding reception ten years ago. (Come Fly With Me ...Morgan dollars)
My family and friends are still talking about it. |

Daryl 3 fly 3 ....can be done with coins or poker chips and was sold with poker chips at lectures. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0g2R4CIRZ34 3 stylin was performed well on Penn and Teller. Excellent version as well. Lee Asher originated it and currently sells the manuscript. |

It's Simon Coronel's handling of the last chip that makes that particular variation of 3 stylin so good.
