He did a nice little job.
He performed a carpet suspension with Pamela Anderson. He did a nice job of coaching her as his assistant. He then took his seat alonside Jay and performed an effect wherein Jay chose a card. Lance then, using "his" best mentalist personna looked into Jay's eyes and exclaimed "Bill" Jay said, "BIll?" "Yes" said, Lance! I name all of my little 52 friends with personal human names as, he showed each of the backs with different names on them. He then asked Jay, "Which was your card?" Jay then revealed his card 3 of clubs and Lance found it and replaced it on the face of the pack. He turned it over to show that on the back was the name Bill? Jay said, "I like the big stuff in Las Vegas but, I prefer the close-up personal magic like this!" That is one to grow on for everyone if you haven't already picked up on it? Fine job of making us all look good Lance!~ Perhaps another magician will be book on Jay's show because of the foundations other magicians leave behind on these shows? It is always fun to see what someone will choose to perform given a national spotlight? Do you feel Lance chose wisely given the circumstances of using Pamela? She wasn't in on the method and they hadn't rehearsed it at all. Lance even removed the stool supports himself. I felt just a little bad for him when he had to lift up the board to replace the supports afterwards. That was the only ungraceful thing I have ever seen Lance do onstage in that type of setting. That is the whole point of the Blaney Levitation. A magician can take this great illusion ANYWHERE (lance performed it on the beach in his last tv special), and remove the supports. He did it superbly. This is not ungraceful at all.
This levitation is a favorite of many, inlcluding Copperfield, Siegfried & Roy, Lance, and many more.

Yes it was Blaney ladders, not the common flying carpet.
I actually liked his nuance of pulling both of the ladders further back a second time selling the distance of the ladders from the platform. He also used "The Hoop" from both the back and a straight walk by in front. Great technique, but that's Lance.
Nothing would get done at all, if man waited so long that no one could find fault with it.
