In case other owners are interested, I have posted my solution for a discreet and easy hands free activation of this device on Facebook (CTC Project - Closed Group).

Maybe I missed it in one of the earlier posts but does anybody know if the gimmick works with the 1,-€ Tango Steelcore Coin?
Thanks

Not sure to be honest Nikki78 but my actual magnet coins are too powerful for it.
My normal steel core coins work great though, Olly |

Hi Olly Do you mean gimmicked steel core coins or normal currency?

I ordered this one, I don't know who makes it and have not received it yet, but hopeful it works...

Does CTC require you to buy the special quarter?

Does anyone else have trouble getting the coin to st#$@ to the M#g@$*@ when "dumping" out the coin?
I find it almost an impossible task? Everything else works fine, just not getting the "dumping out" to work?? Thanks! Roy |

Yes Roy it’s not easy, you can strategically stick another small magnet inside the can (so it doesn’t interfere with the workings) and it will always attract to that for the dump out. Admittedly you are not reset but I always would check the reset anyway so I don’t find that an issue, Olly

Yes, like Olly mentioned and I also teach this in the additional CTC tips video In the secret CTC group on Facebook there is another alternative hook up shown as well. Make sure to join this great group for more cool ideas!

Due to some comments here regarding steelcore coins maybe you can answer my question from top of the page: does a Tango steelcore 1,-Euro work? Thanks & br

Every time I want to test the range it needs recharging..I charge it for several hours but battery only seems to last an hour or less

Peter:
Sorry for repeating my previous message. Again, I am not a member of FB. I would love to partake in some of the tips that the FB members are coming up with. Is there anyway you could pass these tips on (again, I could provide proof of purchase). Maybe come up with an addendum video with new tips (via the password that came in the package). I would love to see the alternative hook up for the "dump out". To those questioning steel core coins. I just purchased the Chazpro steel core quarter. This coin is not working as well as the coin that Peter provides. The attraction is minimal and weak...too easy to accidentally dislodge. |

Kurtis, drop me line at: info@peter-eggink.nl and I’ll get you sorted. Re coins, you need to have direct steel contact so inside a coin is indeed too weak but there are alternatives. For tips on range or anything else, upon proof of purchase you’ll get acces to the group where all is being discussed and shared

I REALLY want to buy one of these but the lack of an on/off switch has put me off
If for instance you are at a party and say a few hours had passed before you get round to performing it it would be flat and need a recharge |

I to thought a switch was important but haven totally changed my mind.
If it had a switch you would not know the charge state of your unit unless you had just charged it before you went out. You could say yes that's fine I'll do that but I know some will think they only used it a couple of time last time it will be fine and because of this maybe it won't have enough power or the battery has drained over time. The simple solution which is mentioned on the tutorial and I used last night. I attached an external usb battery pack to the gimmick when I left home, I got the gig got ready and by this time over 2 hours had passed ,the unit is now charged. I left it connected until I wanted it and went over to my case and got it ready in less than 20 seconds which included a quick test to make make sure it worked. This gave me 100% confidence it would be ok and it was, the reactions were amazing. If it had a switch you would still have to go to your case switch it on and get it ready which is essentially the same amount of time.
