Hello everyone ! Question for you … I just finish a excellent book by Christopher t. ''Just for fun''. In the book, he got a chapter called : on my back. where something appear on your back. I found the idea brilliant so I wanna adapted it. It will not be on my back but on the back of the children. Like a production of something from behind the child. My question is do you have any source / reference on the subject.

I wanna explore more on the subject.

I already have some ideas but for the moment I don't found them safe for the helper …
because my extra something are sharp … or do you have any idea to make that thing more safe for them ?

anyway, thx for the help.

ClothesPin

I use to put bunny ears on a kid and attach tail with a clothespin.

You just have to pre-pick a kid with a loose shirt.

Oh Sorry. Do you Millenials know what a clothespin is?

David Ginn published a booklet titled "Comedy Card on Back" years ago. That's one source to learn handling.

Here's a quick video by David:

Description of the video on youtube, posted in 2011: "I published this over 30 years ago, and it still works. This is the basic routine with jumbo cards. A more elaborate version is on Magic They Love To See DVD. See www.ginnmagic.com"

- Donald

P.S. I used to do a combination of this routine with a card in balloon prop (which failed to produce the card) and a deck of alphabet cards. The chosen card would reappear on the child's back.

Just a FYI, David currently seems to have a glitch with loading certain pages at his www.GinnMagic.com URL, but if you try www.GinnMagic.org instead that works.

The Comedy Card on Back booklet was first published in 1974, according to this page on his site:
