There is a trick I came across. Its called Ultimate airborne with any bottle. From bottles to cans to glasses. Sells for 22 bucks. I just wanted to know if anyone had seen this version used? Does the gimmick stand up to standard? Just wondering. Please give me your thoughts on this. Thanks in advance!

Wondering that myself, considering all the specific bottle Airborne effects out there now. There's also an electronic Coke one I saw online where the glass moved up and down. Any experience or see this effect first-hand to testify?

Brian,
There are many different types of tricks like the one you describe. Many different type bottles and glasses used. I had the trick once before and it played pretty good. I am cautious about bying it again unless I actually get to examine it. Some are made poorly. I also would like to know if anyone has this trick . Could they also dicribe the quality. Dolini

About two years ago, at Hank Lee's, the guy behind the counter showed me a Coke can that was set up for this. I don't know if this is the same version you were asking about, but it was about $20-$25. I really liked it. However, I don't use liquid in my act because I used to and I don't like it. I spent 10 years performing milk tricks for the American Dairy Association at the New York State Fair—I refuse to do any more liquid tricks.
If I did liquid tricks, I'd get this. It is much improved from the old version I had years ago that is still around and sells for about $6. The new one is much easier handling. There are some where the can or bottle is rigged, and you can only use THAT can, while there are some that can be transferred to other cans. My old version required a bottle, but the bottle was not gimmicked, only the glass. |

I own and regularly use Ultimate Airborne. It is easy to set up and handle, and works beautifully. I love it! Works only with bottles of a certain neck size though, and certainly not with cans. |

I hope it is better than the regular airborne which I felt the gimmick was glaringly obvious.

I use to have this til it broke about 2 years ago.
It was a good effect but it could only fit certain necks of bottles and not cans. Only the glass was gimmicked. I did not like it too much because it said you could drinks a few sips out of it after poured in the glass, but it was definately not true because of lead(trying to say it without revealing the secret) inside the bottle!! Oh well, it was good while it lasted for how it was made(broke a few times on me). It might of not been good for me, but I must say it always gave a great response from the audience. I'm not saying this effect is bad for it always pleased the audience, but I'm just saying the Ultimate Airborne I had was alittle on the downside with quality. I just probably had a rip off version of it so it's probably really good the actual one. Just my 2 cents.. Mack Magic

Doug Malloy's Ultimate Airborne is great. I've used his version for 6 years. Trouble free and easy to use. I even asked him to make me one with a root beer can. That way I could have a "Root Beer Float"!
