I'm working on a routine with my change bag and am encountering some problems. I don't want to say too much here, but does anyone have tip on keeping the various silks organized while inside?
My routine will have 3 loose silks and two different chains in there at once. My fear is that I will grab the wrong one. Help!
What is the color of magic?

Sew a different colored bead onto each chain. When you have the right bead the appropriate chain comes with it. Also, to avoid having the silk chains from tangling together, it may be best to have them tied into a bundle, secured with a slip knot. I also move the silks that I've finished with into the other compartment, to keep them separate from the silks that I'm about to produce.

Great idea Alan, but I would use a different shaped bead/button for each silk so I wouldn't have to look in the bag.
For myself, I just make sure the each silk goes into its assigned position the same way every time I do the effect. I never change and it has never had a problem.

You could try velcro adhesive dots on the corner of the silks and their corresponding partner dot on the change bag then you can place them in order.
This may or may not work on the chains depending on how heavy they are. |

Hi,
Or you could sew some pockets inside the change bag. Phillip |

Just remember that if you have 2 many silks inside the bag there will be a bulge and people will realise that there is something else in the bag

I do remember seeing a change bag with 3 compartments, but I do recommend sewing beads onto the corners of the main silks. Different sizes for each production that you want to make.

My change bag bulges pretty good with the 3 silks for the Mismade Flag routine (16 by 24 inches, each). I just make sure the compartment is to the rear and I show the bag "empty" with similar moves to the egg bag routine. It works fine. People love the routine.
