I saw an ACR ending where the signature card was palmed at the end of the trick (ie after the trick was essentially over); and then became a finale for a following trick, being left under a beer glass (I think it was Doc Eason)! clever misdirection on that.

Palm it out and slip it to a passing waiter. Have him come over to "top them up" and have him load the card to an impossible location.

My favorite end it's Kennedy Box II.

Finish with a Card to Wallet effect. Simple but very powerful from the view point of the spectator. And you don't have to bend the card!

^ That's true, but the spectator won't see it that way. They'll remember it as this card that they chose that kept jumping to the top of the deck no matter what the magician did and then the card just got fed up and said I'm leaving this deck and it ended up in the magician's wallet that was closed with a zipper!

It's a good solution for the flap don't close when in the pocket and also you can write something about the gig or put your contact, a joke...it works for me. Helder

Hello,
I also have the Brause Pop Up Move in my routine, and it is preceded by the Erdnase change. This is because the Braue move needs the AC to be second from the top. I want to ask for different methods of doing that, because the Erdnase change is rather a necesity in my case, my whole routine is like a chain, all the phases are interdependant. And it makes my routine a bit too long, and I want to get rid of it, but then I cannot get into the Braue without inserting another phase. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance. |

Well, it depends a lot in the presentation you're doing for the trick
but, usually people use Card to Pocket, Card to Mouth, Card to Wallet I've seen magician's who Fold the card secretly and make it appear in their shoe. Also, there's a friend of mine that finishes it "vanishing" the card and making it appear inside the Lemon (of course, the presentation gives him room and reason to do that) |

Anyone who watches acr routines and takes note of the audiance, or any card routine for that matter, having the card to impossible locations gets the most applause, if id have a choice between card to wallet or card to ringbox id do the ringbox, card to wallet or card to sealed deck id do the sealed deck

And ending that doesn't bend the card at all would also eliminate any that require a bottom palm or top palm, so a no-palm card to wallet could be very strong.

What I do is take a card (I prefer it to be a non-court card, red card. It can be black, but it has to be lower denomination, so there's plenty of white space for people to sign) from a DIFFERENT deck of cards, let's say that I normally use a red deck, I'd use a blue backed card. This different card is the AC. After getting it signed, I do my usual ACR, but it has to use a couple TL's, to work around the different back. At the end of the routine, I slap the deck while doing a color change to "bruise" the back of the card.
