Dear Magic Café,

As this is my first post, there is a good chance I've placed it in the wrong section! I wish to ask the Magic Café community some questions about the history of magic, in particular about the controversial role of Jasper Maskelyne during the Second World War, and, more close to home, the history of magicicians in Canada after 1945. Please advise me where I should put my questions, and I apologize if this has post is in the wrong area.

Best,

Jay, this type of question has been asked before and this response should answer your question.

A MAGIC HISTORY forum has been suggested in the past and we will in fact be adding such a forum sometime this year.

In the meantime, such a subject as the one you mention above might best be posted in our Food for Thought forum or perhaps in our Oldies...but goodies forum, but not in both. Hope this helps.
