Guy Hollingworth's handsome face has often been favorably compared with international acting superstar, Hugh Grant. But Guy is an international superstar in his own right. In fact, magicians are more likely to say that Hugh Grant looks like Guy Hollingworth! But more than a "pretty face" (that put him on the cover of the March 2019 Genii magazine), he is a class act who has a class act portraying magic in the style of the 1920's but using technology and methods from the 21st century. Guy was the Guest of Honor at this year's MagiFest in Columbus, Ohio where he lectured, performed and offered an extra workshop following the convention. And when all was over, said and done, he sat down in a relaxed atmosphere and chatted for a recording. He talked about creating his classic act, how he developed his 2011 one-man show, "Expert At The Card Table", his creation of the classic "torn and restored card" effect, plus a little discussion on his full time job as a barrister in England.
You can watch Guy perform "Reformation" in a video clip, view some original, candid photos of Guy, read the blog, listen to the podcast online, and download the MP3 at: https://www.themagicwordpodcast.com/scot......ingworth
