This is beautiful!
An amazing gimmick that creates amazing effects.
This is probably the best deck vanish I have seen and a very original method.

Dorian,
This is a product announcement.
The thread that you are talking about is a comparison thread of two items.

"Mirage" is very good but with "Mirage" you do not end up clean.

With "Level One" you are absolutely clean at the end of the routine.
And there is no comparison, there are two absolute different gimmicks.
"Mirage" is good, but "Level One" is awesome, just unbelievable.

"Level One" is a brilliant gimmick, absolutely awesome.
I did "Level One" gimmick myself and it works fine.

Here is the video with my homemade "Level One" gimmick:

I will still buy the original "Level One" gimmick. Why?
Because "Level One" developer Christian Grace deserves it, it's an absolute genius gimmick.
So simple but so ingenious.

I think it is stretching the truth to say you are left clean. Yes you are clean after d******g something.

Exactly. It is obvious in the demo that you are not clean. Not to mention it would be real magic if you were, lol. But does look nice!

During the main routine you are clean at the end. The ditch is motivated in the routine and happens before the reveal so you do end clean.

I grabbed it at Blackpool and I have used it at most close up shows since.

Of course the ditch happens before the reveal, LOL. Still doesn't mean that you end clean without having to do something.

Now don't get me wrong, I have no problem with having to ditch something to end clean but the problem therein lies with the ad trailer which is typically the case.

The statement was you end up clean, Which was what people where debating.

So to clarify at the end of the routine you are clean. The clean up during the routine is well motivated and happens before the end of the routine.

Weather the ad copy says otherwise I don't know.

Just trying to be helpful to let people make and informed decision.

Any tips on the handling? My card is buckling up everytime I try to do the move.

Just wanted to comment and point out that the "routine" is subjective. Obviously, you're likely to end clean with any routine as that makes logical sense.

I thought it was fairly obvious that when someone brings up the point of whether you end up clean or not, they are referring to the effect--not the routine.

Ok just to clarify. This is the statement I think people questioned. It states you are clean at the end of the routine. You are.

I did a soap and water routine once and ended clean.

No,seriously, this looks very cool. What is the life of the gimmick?

So you select a card do a light switch and then vanish?

Not having this, I am just speculating but you obviously will have to perform a switch and a ditch. Switch to bring in the gimmick and selected card in and a ditch to end clean.

The ad blurb is:

Level One by Christian Grace is a gimmick that allows you to progressively vanish ANY deck of cards. This completely sold out at Blackpool 2019 and has not been available since.

Holding a deck of cards, you give a gentle shake, and half of the deck seems to melt into thin air. With another shake, the rest of the deck vanishes, leaving you with just one card: the spectator's selection!

The last card can immediately be handed out for examination. There is nothing to find; it's a normal playing card.

Consider these points:
•You end clean. The last card can be fully examined.
•It's easy to do. It will take just a short time to learn how to use the gimmick.
•There are no angle restrictions. You can perform Level One surrounded.
•The last card is completely examinable.
•There are no flaps, threads or magnets. You receive a solid-state gimmick. It will never break.

After reading this, IMO, the ad is fuzzy with the "ending clean" and "immediately handed out". All this is true ONLY after the dirty work is completed....but of course this is how a lot of ad blurbs are written.

I’m familiar with the workings and the ad copy is accurate. The ditch is built in to the structure of the routine and happens before the final card is revealed.
