Hello...
Since my appetite is bigger than my wallet, I'll have to make a choice... Sight unseen by Marky April or Peek encores by Richard Bush.. But I must choose wisely... So the grasshopper seeks guidance... Hello ? Greetz Excuses, I mean: Sight unseen or peek performances...

Well....
I think in the long run you have to get both, the SUC is fantastic, I use it as my everyday wallet, I have my credit card, and some blank buisness cards in permenantly, peek performances is a must read for any type of billet work, you cant just rely on your SUC all the time, I personally and would recommend to anyone to switch up methods of obtaining written or drawn information! the book has a gold mine of info and techniques. the book also does not stick to just obtaining info but the revelation of such material too, there are loads of effects that are not to do with billets also, some coin work in there as well as book peeks...highly recommended BOTH!!!

SUC vs PP is not a fair comparision. SUC is probably the best gimmick on his category, I have it and use it a lot, but PP will bring you knowledge, applicable to many different situations, in a broader sense than a gimmick.

Hi Mystery,
Enriqueenriquez has given some great advice. I don't own SUC, but I have a friend who does and in his hands it's a thing of beauty. I want one! For me though, knowledge is more powerful, and given the choice I would go with PP first. Al |

Busch claims, and it is true, that the peeks described in Peek Performances and Peek Encores render peek wallets unnecessary. It's true even of the SUC.
Everything the SUC does can also be done with peeks from Peek Encores, including the ability to write on a hidden prediction slip (the prediction would be written on a securely folded business or index card rather than hidden in a wallet). That is somewhat true of Peek Performances, too, but to a lesser extent. The work in Peek Encores is what truly obviates the need for center tears, peek wallets and even one-ahead (although I continue to use the last for my own peace of mind during Q&A). BUT there is definitely an added bit of "theater" and class in using the SUC, versus some folded index card that'll just be thrown away when the effect is done. Finally, for what it's worth, I don't have an SUC. I was, for some time, hellbent on getting one, but changed my mind after mastering the peeks in Peek Encores. |

The SUC is very easy to use straight out of the box. A little bit of thought about handling and away you go.
Peek Perfomances just keeps on giving as long as you are prepared to put in the work. Also you get that picture of a scary Mr Busch that is worth "a thousand words". IIRC it is also his avatar on this board. In the long run you may want both. |

Can you use SUC with your credit card still in it or do you have to take it out first?

At the end of the day, if they remember you put it in your wallet, they will have an exuse to say"must be that wallet!" make your peeks fast and forgotten.
Well then...

The problem with SUC is that some people have had difficulty getting a reply from emails sent to Mark Strivings - see Sweet or Sour.
But if you can get hold of one, it's great. |

Meanwhile... I got Peek performances.
And it 's one of the best books I've ever bought. If there's anyone out there who doensn't have it : highly recommended. But don't believe me, believe all the pro's who recommend it. Bye,
