This looks pretty good http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/11862. just wonder if anything similar has been released before since the reviews talk about an old method.

I don't have this, but from the video, seems like it's just a D*** R****** routine framed around mad libs... I'm sure the Other Brothers have some good tips and tricks to go with it, but you have all the limitations of any other DR routine.

It's definitely strange that you're not showing the actual participant the predictions.

I think this suffers greatly with the too perfect theory.

I found this to be a fun download and worth the money. The convincers reinforcing to the participant on stage that you’re predictions are spot on makes this a worker. Some audience management required but no biggie. And even the outs should one prediction go bad just gets rid of the too perfect perception. The brothers cover this well.

I am just guessing there is a bit too much of PS I love you here - and if so, what precisely am I getting?

If you are thinking, “That was painfully obvious” you may be exactly right about how it is done. Regardless of their claims, this is NOT a magician fooler. Furthermore, there is nothing at all about how to really sell this to get reactions. It truly appears as if they have near zero stage time with this. It shows both in the demonstration and in the missing elements in the teaching.
That said, Mad Libs is a good presentation theme, although it is trademarked so they can’t sell you the branding. |

OK, I watched the trailer a second time and I figured it out. I think an astute audience member who has never seen a magic show could also possibly figure it out. I may try out the idea though - it's not a bad premise, maybe if it is done in the course of another routine (rather than a stand-alone stunt).

Just DR folks. Nothing really new.

Combine this with the 100th Monkey and some DR and you may have something.

Thank you! But if you use a psychological fo*** or a blank with a mult**** o** possibility, you can at least show one prediction, which could act as a convincer.

I agree with both Madison and Adrian: this is way too perfect AND way too obvious. And the reactions are not "killer", as they claim in the trailer. Which you can see... in the trailer. Lol.
Please check regularly if you are becoming the type of magician Jerry Seinfeld jokes about. (This applies to mentalists as well.)

This is the kind of material you get from them when they put out something that they didn't actually lift from someone else.
