Should have read properly. I've used a children's music box for seance theatre. The clunky tune playing in the dark very unsettling. Also vaguely remember some PK blocks made like kids toddlers ABC blocks. Can't remember if they were officially released or just someone's personal project.

Music box is a great idez.

I planned to use the Third Death part of the routine. 3rd Death also works great with White Star.

You're never really done. You'll think of something else.

Willie -

In his eBook “A Lightning Rod to the Spirits,” Paul Voodoni has a story effect involving a young girl, a malevolent spirit, and a set of coloring books -

THE COLOURING-IN BOOKS
A proud father finds out that his daughter's newly acquired artistic skills come from a very dark place. Time to call in the local vicar!

I know some adults that would freak out with this one. Don't understand the phobia but some people are scared to death of a clown and suffer from coulrophobia. While it may seem irrational, any fear is valid whether real or imagined.

Just dropping this here...

It plays equally well to adults and children and mixes magic, mentalism, and storytelling in a truly memorable and beautiful way. It's purpose is towards 'magical thinking' (of which, children are masters) and less about 'tricks'.
Magic which awakens and nourishes the divine spirit in man encourages the growth of true humanity, in contrast to the materialistic outlook which binds man to the earth.

Timmy's Toy Chest, which can be found in Shuddershadow Masion by Mark Piazza is a great child themed effect. It is very dark but I don't think that would be a problem for you Weepinwil. I introduce it as a love story that shows the power of love. The presentation then emphasizes how Timmy, having no one to direct his love towards, directs all his love into his favourite toy. It is that love, or at least the final loss of it, that transforms the toy.

Just remembered another one, The Ragdale House Affair by Stephen Young. I haven't performed it myself but it is a brilliant routine with huge potential for a good storyteller.

Stephen Young has put out some strong magic. This one looks no different: http://www.thoughtillusions.com/ragdalehouse.html

My post is not a recommendation on where you should buy this item should you want it. That is purely up to you.
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

If you want to track down Timmy's Toy Chest you can find Mark Piazza's Shuddershadow Mansion at the Lybrary here https://www.lybrary.com/shuddershadow-mansion-p-319.html
