I note that so many of the great and magicians have passed away recently. I think it would be nice to have a memorial topic to these would be a way of remembering and honoring them. Does not have to be detailed, just the name and dates of passing. John Cornelius just passed recently. He was a FISM winner. So many of the magicians I learned from since being in magic should be remembered.

Don't need a comment section, just a place to honor those that have gone before and have given so much to the growth of magic. These magicians should not be forgotten.

The list since the 1st of the year seems to be extensive recently.

I agree. We lost so many pioneers.
I am a Mod at a musician forum where we have a section called GONE HOME. It's nice to read member's personal stories about their experiences with past masters.

I think this idea has merit - Let me see what I can come up with.

I do have a favor to ask; Since you brought this whole thing up, perhaps you can begin gathering a list of magicians, the year they were born, when they died and maybe a small bio of each? Also a photo when possible.

That should give you a nice project.

The idea of making it an actual "Obit" type post is a great idea, Seems like the bigger names in magic would not be too awful hard to find but even some of the more obscure local magicians often have links to their funeral home or local paper online obit that could be linked.
