Hi. I'm looking for a copentro (coin/ring to glass) that doesn't look like a gimmick and can be operated remotely for a parlor/stage act. What's out there that is really good?
I've heard of a Chinese one that supposedly works well and looks good, but I'm leery of buying without a specific recommendation and assurance that it works and actually shows up. So, what's the Café wisdom on that?

There was a thread a few years ago that had a nice discussion on the issue requested. Not sure all the links given still work, but you can find it here

What happened to the comment plugging Dollar Store Magic?

With any verion of Copentro, you cannot use a borrowed finger ring, as it will get smashed and damaged. Just a warning.

Since no one seems to be able to refer you to the Chinese "Copentro" you originally sought, and since when I mention items you can make yourself from The Ma*ic N**k some monitor decides I have overstepped my bounds, I'll just say I have several solutions for finger rings that are guaranteed not to break them or harm them and which will still accomplish the effect you want. E-mail me if you want more information. Warning: I often make "snarky" comments to my friends.

One of the things I've noticed is that when you're trying to sell things you're also insulting the poster who asked about stuff, which doesn't strike me as the best sales technique. Now, I don't know if all those posters are your "friends," but I certainly find it off-putting. So, if you have something you'd like to recommend I'd be grateful, but I'm not going to encourage an exchange where you announce ahead of time that you will "snark at" (i.e. "insult") me, thanks.

Never mind. Nothing to recommend.

But I reread the OP and I don't think it asks for one, only one's experience with it,but here it is: https://www.52magic.com/1009_Coins-and-R......gic.html |

I can say that a few members have ordered props from 52 Magic over the years and they have been satisfied with what they received.
