For a limited time I've been running a giveaway of my go to business card/blank card peek down on 'Penny for your thoughts'.
I've now decided to release the product into the wider world and it is now available to purchase in an updated format including an ebook and video tutorial. It is a very simple and practical piece of mentalism that works wonders in the real world, no hype it just works! If your interested in what others have to say you can read the thread below https://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/view......&start=0 Its available to purchase at www.mindofmagic.co.uk It has served me well down the years and it is a practical tool that Im sure most mentalist will appreciate and find a use for.

I received a review copy and very glad that I did. This is really very good. Just a normal stack of business cards and a pen. Easy, well motivated and invisible to the spectator.

Received this now and had a proper read of the PDF , I haven’t performed it as yet but tried it with my own business cards in practice .
It’s brilliant ! Super deceptive , diabolical in method yet super easy and the misdirection is natural and done in the open and is undetectable . If you perform magic at any level then in my opinion it’s a no brainer and worth every single penny and more . Infact if I had got a review copy I would of still paid Arthur for it again as did Iain as it’s simple , so workable and it’s thinking like this that deserves supporting . I will be testing it out at the weekend for real but it can’t fail and is completely organic . Great stuff a massive 👍👍 on this one Gaz 🙂 |

Works well with index card stock cut as billets, like Bob cassidy used to use, 3x5 cut in half...

This is a wonderful p**k that I have found to have a number of very useful features:
1. Very easy to execute. Although nothing at all like AN in how it appears or works, it has a similar ease of execution. 2. Dry hands not an issue. Some p**ks or b****t moves don't work as well (or maybe not at all at times) when you have really dry hands. This one works flawlessly with dry hands. 3. Highly deceptive. Some of the instant access CTs and p**ks just aren't that deceptive. This one I'd rate very highly on the deceptiveness scale. 4. No need for a wallet or envelope. Their card goes in the middle of the stack and stays there. Let them hold the stack while you reveal. Then have them take out their card and keep it. 5. No need to tear up or fold your business card. Very well done, Arthur. |

Could someone describe the simplest kind of routine that this could be used for? I've never really experimented with anything like this, so I'm curious. Can it be used to do just a simple and quick standalone trick, or should it really be part of a bigger routine?

Yeah, it'll do you a favour in lots of ways... then once you've looked at the routines and techniques, read some of the presentations - you'll find out if you like them or not, and THEN when you buy this (and you should) you'll feel more confident about things, AND then you can come up with your own presentations...i think PME is under a tenner...

I just checked my (electronic) archive, and I discovered that I have a copy of Annemann's "Practical Mental Magic". I guess that's perhaps not the same as "Practical Mental Effects", but it may still be worth a read.

Just wondering how this compares to ‘underhanded ‘?
Definition of a Freudian slip; Saying one thing and meaning a "mother"!
