I received this some hours ago.
I have never seen such a beautiful treatment of an effect to the extent Sudo has brought it to. I'm still awestruck by the care, dedication and effort Sudo put into both the effect and his teaching. And he gave this away for free. It's absolutely beautiful. Thanks you Sudo. You're amazing. Shaun |

I tried deleting the PM (I think I only deleted it from my PMs) but, and my apologies for not being clear, please ignore my request and, instead, send a copy to somebody else who got in later than me. I won't be able to use this, even though I'm sure it's brilliant, and I felt it wasn't fair to have you spend 20 minutes on something I'm not going to be able to take advantage of. I felt like it was unfair to you as well as whoever might have missed the cut-off. Again, sorry if that wasn't clear. Please ignore my request for this and, instead, send to somebody else as I know it's not trivial on your end. Thanks for being great and best of luck to you in all you do. |

As usual, Sudo has once again gifted us with a fine piece of magical theatre; simple in method, and yet complex in possibilities.
I would probably use cards from a Japanese-style tarot deck, instead of the distinctly Western Rider-Waite, just to keep everything thematically unified. But that's just me. This is what magic should be all about . . . providing inspiration in other people's lives . . . one person at a time. Thank you, Sudo, for such a lovely gift.

I allude to that in the performance section when I say "...it was originally played with hand-painted cards, but we'll simply use these three tarot cards instead." Personally, I'd prefer to actually use hand-painted cards (or something similar) instead of tarot cards entirely. But until such time that I can find a suitable alternative or a gifted artist, these will suffice for now and are easily available. The important thing (for me), is that they fit in the wallet. Audiences don't pay attention to the fact that they're of western design because it's of no consequence; it's the actual symbols on the cards and the story which are the focal point. That said, I may eventually design some nice cards specifically for this and have them specially manufactured. It's an idea I've been considering for quite some time now; the effect is absolutely worth it. |

Now that the school year is over and I have two months of summer vacation, I may be able to design something for you.

Sudo was kind enough to send this my way. This is a wonderful piece of art. I could go on and on about all of the little touches, the simple yet devastating method, the script itself. If you've been following Sudo's releases over the past few years, this meets the expectations that one might expect from him.
As mentalists (and magicians), we have a wonderful platform to share our thoughts with others. In this case, I can't wait to take Sudo's routine and share it with my audiences. And no, I won't be performing this in my paid performances. Not because it's not good; it is a wonderful piece. This will be one of those special moments that I save for one-on-one. And it won't be used to make me look good, or to show off my skills as a mindreader. This will be used to create a memory for my participant that they won't soon forget. If Sudo is still offering this, I would ask him politely if he would share it with you. Thank you Sudo. This, along with all your other contributions to the art, is fantastic. |

I will just be echoing what others have already said, but its a beautiful piece of theater. Even just the thoughts on the game part is worth it, even if you use it in other ways.
Well done! All the best, Dan |

Thank-you for the touching comments all.
I apologize that I've been slower than usual in getting this out to everyone. I've been a little busier than normal with things lately, but I've pretty much caught up with all the Hoshi requests - for now. I'm really happy that everyone is enjoying this one so much. I've been performing this a lot lately and it really is having such a wonderful impact on people - more than anything else I'm doing. It really is touching people lives in a very positive way and such a surreal thing for me to witness. We have such an immense responsibility to our audiences - and to the art. It truly isn't about us at all. I don't even know if it can be captured in words. More importantly, this seems to be having a ripple effect too. One person I gifted this to made a donation to the Make a Wish foundation on my behalf. Another helped a graduate student researching autism with their research. That's the kind of real magic no money can ever buy. I know I've made some terrible mistakes in my life - for which, I truly am sorry, but all anyone can really do is try to be a better person than they were the day before. I'd like to think that in some small way I'm helping to make the world a better place with all this. It seems to be the case so far. Perhaps not; I don't know. But the universe knows what's in my heart and I suppose that's all that matters. Sorry, I'm getting a little emotional and rambling now. I'm still taking requests. If anyone would like to get in on this, by all means PM me. I will get to you eventually, though, it may take you a few attempts as I still have virtually no wiggle room in my box. |

Just read it - what a beautiful wee routine. Once again, Sudo has generously provided a practical routine and such a moving effect that he could easily, and justifiably, charge good money for.
I have an event in a few months that this would be perfect for... off to watch a bunch of origami youtube videos now.. |

Such a sweet effect. Definitely one I’m sure the participant will remember down road. And what a beautiful little keepsake for them.. All around just a beautiful and magical effect.
