Yer I wouldn’t lie 🤣 Anyone that knows me knows that I’ve had it and used it pretty heavily since Blackpool weekend (so over 5 months of heavy use). TheDirectionalist how many cards were you keeping in the slot? In the instructions Dee only puts in maybe 4-6 business cards. I use blank index cards which are a lot thinner (with less friction in the wallet), meaning I can keep up to about 8/9 cards pretty comfortably.
Glad you have another on it’s way to you though! In terms of this “cruelty free leather”, I have seen no let up in this wallet compared to my other performing wallet(The Rebel). As you can see from my video that is the condition of the wallet after 5 months of being in my jeans, my hands and other peoples hands. |

This caused the faux leather itself to tear and also unstick from the ID window. Which basically means when I pull cards out now it pulls leather out with it and makes it more difficult to remove cards. Makes sense that yours wouldn’t do that since you are using only index cards which aren’t as sharp or sturdy and not small enough to fit under that lip and catch it. Perhaps I won’t be using business cards to avoid the issue. |

I still have the Outlaw Effects Pantera wallet. Later I remember the Pantera V2 coming out with the 3M privacy screen. Isn’t this wallet just one side of an Outlaw Effects wallet from way back??? Older wallet fans can maybe help here.
I still use this wallet as my every day wallet and it’s still going strong.all those years later - made of leather. |

I bought it. This is great. While I suspect this will last, there is undeniably a "bit" of fragility to it (i.e. see TheDirectionalist experience) I do agree it would have been better in leather, it will definitely last longer, absolutely be more durable (could shove more cards in there), and most probably wouldn't have mind paying more. Maybe eventually there will be a deluxe "meat eaters" version. I suspect not because veganism may be an issue that is close to home for Dee, because the first portion of the video was about why he chose vegan leather (aka plastic). It's his wallet, so his choice of material. As long as mine lasts, I have no complaints. Another benefit is that if you do have a problem, it's less expensive to just buy another.

I’ve asked a leather carver to duplicate the Razor Wallet in fine, hand crafted leather. It’s currently being produced.

I then trimmed it to size and attached it along the top edge of the supplied card on the back side. Now it looks like there are two cards in that pocket as opposed to just the one. Probably overkill but it does look nice and does not hinder the performance at all. |

I am really loving it! I made a color photocopy of my DL and put it in the window with several business cards behind it. In the back, I have the loyalty card and an old expired credit card.

How practical is the filter gimmick provided with Razer Wallet? I already have an infinity wallet with the same peek function but this looks slim and small enough to act as a business card holder as well.

I just got this direct from Dee's website (thanks for the super fast delivery!) and I would say I think I will prefer to not use the filter. Whilst it does definitely work you will need to play with angles etc. I would recommend testing with a friend to find out where is works best from. Here are the main issues I have with the filter:
1.) In this particular routine you have it in full view rather than just to stop you flashing the peek 2.) The Filter only works one way so someone standing to one side might see a flash whereas someone in front would see nothing 3.) If spectator gets too close whilst wallet is in view then they could flash and see this. I think the wallet is great and the filter is good but I would not rely on as it is not foolproof. I will report back once I have had more of a chance to play with it. The best way I can see this being used is where the peek area is only in view for a brief second and it is not being focused on. Sometimes I think we want something that too perfect like some James Bond spy gadget. The filter does work but it has limitations. In all honesty the main routine Dee teaches does not use the filter and you show the wallet both sides and I personally love this more than using the filter. I like this as it will hold a few business cards and a debit card if necessary and I can have this on me ready to go without having to carry around a bulky magic/mentalism wallet

I received this a little while back and like it. Really like the size of the wallet. I do see Big Dan's point with the filter. Though, in the right situation the filter can be very deceiving. The wallet is super easy to generate the p*$k and for the money, I feel this is worth it!

Readily available filters out there are lame. The one that accompanies the TeleThought is one of a kind. If you’re into filters then I recommend replacing it with a TeleThought filter. Otherwise, I would just perform with it like a Caper Case the way it is demonstrated in the performance video.

Yes the filters are rubbish . Forget the filter
method unless you can get a telethought filter which are a country mile better than these filters or the ones in the Pantera V2 which again are very poor imho Gaz 🙂 |

Just got mine and I am loving it! The layers of deception on this is so good in my opinion that it hides the method just great!
The only issue I guess that I have is the fact that its vegan leather, I had the Ultimate Networking Tool before switching to this and that was faux leather/vegan leather as well. After months of use it did crack and the pleather started to fall off. I just hope the same won’t happen here. I’ve read that UVB rays are what causes vegan/faux leather to crack and just apply baby oil to help prevent that, so I guess just prevent this leather to be exposed to too much heat and you’ll be good. But does anyone else who has this since Blackpool have any update regarding the status of their wallet if it held up over long periods of use? Just wanted to get more insight on the possible “lifespan” of the vegan leather. Much appreciated! |

Okay, this sounds exactly like the Pantera V2 wallet by Outlaw Effects. I notice Alakazam are promoting the Pantera V2 right now. Can someone please tell me what the difference is between the two?

I saw on a review the mention that this could be used for CTW as well.
Can anyone comment on that? Thank you |
