I'm not seeing any other levels, but I'm probably missing something

I’m seeing the options above in the iOS in app purchases on the App Store. I think they used to have a monthly subscription model too. I’m working on a fringe show budget. I think I might have to consider Diverter out of necessity and find my own “stranger” to take the call.

I love this app … I really do. It’s versatile, it’s designed well, the network seems great and the redundancy (i.e. fail safe) notification measures are excellent.

BUT …..

Anyone remember a magician named Max Kraus and his innovative app called “Mental Killer?”

Well, that app was a very rudimentary version and precursor to “The Stranger.” It came out in 2011 or 2012, I think, and it was basically “The Stranger” long before it existed. The app couldn’t make live calls and it didn’t interface with other high tech devices (they weren’t invented yet), but it did allow for a number of different revelations and it was fully customizable.

Mental Killer was a great app for its time, but tragically, Max Kraus was killed on his bike when he was hit by a car. Without Max, Mental Killer withered and eventually disappeared from the App Store.

So my concern about “The Stranger” is, what happens if Jonathan is no longer supporting it for any reason? Obviously what happened to poor Max was extreme, sudden, tragic and totally unexpected, but any number of circumstances could cause Jonathan to abandon the app in six months, six years or six hours from now. When the future use, existsnce and viability of a very creative and outstanding product is so totally dependent on one person, is it really worth the investment of time and money to own it? I’m just not sure.

And with Nexus at $2K, I'm really leery to be honest.

Nexus new update is powerful! Conversation mode listening in the background from your Apple Watch or phone is stealthy! Listens to your conversations with your spectator naturally and intelligently knows what info needs be sent to whatever device you want!
