Looks like some dealers are running out of ideas

It’s been out of stock for years as it was never that good

Andy Nyman effect is still in stock as it’s stood the test of time

Anyway that’s not sure below is the link to the original

What's the name of Andy Nyman's effect
"The New York Papers," Mark Twain once said,"have long known that no large question is ever really settled until I have been consulted; it is the way they feel about it, and they show it by always sending to me when they get uneasy. "

I think Killer Elite Pro has a better story plot. The wallet does not look old. For Killer Elite, they should make an updated version with newer movies though. Otherwise might as well do an ID routine.

Have to agree Killer Elite Pro is a far superior effect all round
with Andy Nyman everything is thought out and anyone that has his book also contains additional handling ideas

Interesting.
I personally don’t think either is far superior than the other.
Although, I don’t have Andy’s book. And I 100% respect JackMagic as he obviously does.
Now I want to get that!!! Ughhhhh

Depends on your audience. I have both.
Women could care less about the killers. Especially since most have no clue who they are; so there’s no “relation” to bring them in.
If it were purses, they would relate!! 😂😂😂
Older men do love KEP. They know the movies. They get all excited talking about them. I obviously help drive the conversation. So for them, it Kills!!! 😆

Legacy is awesome. Not sure what V2 brings other than video instructions and I’m sure, new ideas. Which is totally fine by me. Why not?
Great story. Everyone has that “uncle”. Ok, not everyone. You don’t have to go with that story of course
It will never be dated like Killer already is. Again, for most audiences.

The wallet I have for Legacy is great. I roughed mine up. Made it look old.

Has anyone tried to age the wallet yet? I've read about alcohol as an option
but I don't think this is made of leather.
Anyway, I'm liking it and having fun creating my "story" Smile

Aging a wallet seems like a lot of work to make it look realistic yet not ruin it too much. True it does add more atmosphere. But I use my wallet in other effects where the age doesn't matter. As above, my perhaps "lame" solution is to say the original wallet was found in an unsalvageable state. Come to think of it maybe I should age another dollar store cheap wallet (that doesn't matter), give it a few rips and shreds and toss it out during my patter as the remnants of the actual wallet that my Grandfather had.

Just some thoughts.

Having an aged wallet is nice I guess but I don't consider it at all necessary for the effect. As docguitarman said, not having the "original" wallet seems perfectly understandable to a spectator and perhaps making it seem even less a "part" of the effect might reduce any heat on it even further.

I think it would be better with 5 pictures with each time a different card, instead of a simple multi with different outputs. Too bad Smile

Adding the metal corners on the wallet makes it really easy to spot from the end. I think a regular Himber wallet would have been better. Just my opinion.

Got mine today and there are no metal corners on the wallet. (Less is more)

I quite enjoy this effect. The story is great, and audiences seem to really love the story.

I was curious, did anyone remove the metal corners on the Himber wallet that came with this?

I know this is an old post, and not saying that Legacy is the greatest trick, but, the performance in that link was NOT good. Practically the entire story was missing. No effort at all was put into the presentation, and is exactly how this should NOT be performed...my 0.02

No crowd management there! They were being a bit "harsh" on the fellow, me thinks!

There were several different videos with different outs that tipped the method. Not good for sales.

Even the vanishing inc demo is "bad" I think the demo by V inc may have gone with the odd-back reveal so that the method wouldn't be tipped. Noticed they didn't pull out the folded dollar bill to show it on all sides, etc. The whole tale is required for the entertainment value of course.

Regards,
Phil
