A recommendation for hypnotism enthusiasts: saw a fantastic documentary a couple of months ago at the Hot Docs film festival in Toronto called The Hypnotist, about the life of Finnish hypnotist Olavi Hakasalo, aka Olliver Hawk. Really well crafted and fascinating doc. Don’t know what kind of release it will receive beyond film festivals but when it eventually ends up on TV, definitely seek it out. I’ve been wanting to recommend it to people since I saw it and it occurs to me this might be the right crowd!
