There is currently an eBay listing for the original two volumes of Glenn Gravatt's _Encyclopedia of Self-Working Card Tricks_.
The asking price is $600.00

Although The Magic Reference Pages has a listing of the contents of the Hugard edition

I have not seen anywhere a listing of the Gravatt edition.

Has anyone ever compared the two editions in any of the magic magazines?

What were the circumstances under which Hugard was chosen to edit the original Gravatt volumes?
