There is a video put out by Monty called "reose Magic by Monty" It is an OK video that talks about rose productions and vanishes and ways you can do magic with roses both fake and real. It might be worth looking into for starters.
I also do a lot of rose type magic and can give you some suggestions and tips should you like them. Just let me know. Kyle

Check out Petrick and Mia's magic site or L & L Publishing for their magic. They produce several rose effects.

There's also Kevin James' Floating Rose Video, which, funnily enough, describes the floating rose. It is a beautiful effect, though it does take a lot of practise to look effortless, well worth it though! With the right stage setting, it is a show stopper. Low fog, blue lighting, candles, romantic music.

Fun Inc. has a Floating Rose that clings to a silk. Very nice Zombie type idea. Comes with instructional video. About $60. Well made.

I make a candle to rose with silk rose and fantasio Candle. There are several rose effects which I currently make.
Of course, the classic is the blooming rose bush where you pass out the roses.

Torch to rose is not a bad, easy rose trick to do.
There is one version available here: http://www.magicgoods.com/TorchRose.htm , but there are better kinds around. |

Harlequin, is that your performance name? If so, I may know you.
