I am not asking how it's done but rather the name of the prediction routine or popular wallets that perform it. I realize it's an easy DIY, I just don't know who the are mimicking.
A deck of cards is shown face up to be all different. A small wallet is shown, front, back, and opened. Inside the wallet is a single prediction card (different back from the deck), and a business card in the ID section. The prediction card is put back in the wallet, both sides of the wallet are shown then it is closed up and placed on the table. Then a card is removed from the deck until the spectator says stop. At this point the closed wallet is placed on the deck. The spectator opens the wallet, and pulls out the prediction card and reveals it. Then the magician removes the wallet from the deck, and again shows both sides. The next card in the deck matches the prediction card. This requires no palming. The same wallet could be used to change a nickel into a penny. Any help is appreciated. |

I sent you a PM. I do not think the normal himber wallet is the same as this trick. But I do not own one, so after you read my PM pleas respond. I know Alan Wong had some Himber Wallets, but not sure of all the mechanisms to know if it's the same.

It sounds like a himber wallet, however, without seeing the presentation there is no way to know for sure. There are several wallets out there that do similar things. Try looking for signed card in wallet routines, they might explain the style wallet that they are using.
