Well that’s a massive improvement then I will check Nicholas’s handling .
This thread was on here 8 days before the Titanas one but when he speaks it appears to be allowed to take over ( must be a Murphy’s thing ) . Either way could the Mods please merge them Gaz 🙂 |

I got a copy of this from Nichols at Magifest. You can kod, set, and ditch the gimmick all in real time in front of the audience. It’s very practical and clever.

Anyone gotten this and worked with it? Curious to get some feedback from folks that have handled it. The transpo to the clear folded plastic looks very nice. Thanks.

I've had Revolve since last summer and really like it a lot. I also purchased the original Evolve a few years back. Revolve is definitely a great gimmick. Incremental inprovement on his original Evolve both in gaff construction and his routine and handling. If you have Evolve then probably not much reason to get this but it's great that it now comes ready made so you can use it straight out of the box, no construction needed!!! And it is a better gaff.
But I have to admit I'm a bit confused because in the current trailer it shows things such as the transpo to the clear plastic and even owning the effect I have no idea how that is accomplished. It also mentions additional ideas from Calen Morelli which I have never seen. So it makes me think they have possibly put out additional material on the tutorial, which that itself is not strange, but what is weird is that the material is not included in the instructional video that I was given the link to with my purchase last summer. They seem to now be including a new link or something. Strange. I bought it direct from Abstract Effects so I will have to email them about it I guess. |

Nice to see that the reviews say it is silent as this could be drawback with Evolve will definitely get this one

I've been playing with this for about a week. It is totally silent and works incredibly smoothly. Really a creative design. The Calen section of the video is just filler. Nothing really worth noting, but I hear Dave Loosley has a great version that combines this with a color changing deck routing I believe. I think there was a video of him doing it but can't remember where.

Is the gimmick something I can make at home or would I have to buy again if anything happened to it?

Is it EASILY possible to begin the act by folding a card, then switch it to the folded card with the gimmick? I am not interested in just changing colour of a card, but would like to integrate Revolve into a routine, for example, a colour changing deck. I wish I could perform Revolve without folding the card (I know that it is impossible, though). Thanks for your advice.

Please help, I purchased Revolve a while back from Abstract Effects and finally have time now to learn the effect. Unfortunately the link for the tutorial provided on my envelope no longer works or is unavailable. I contacted both Abstract Effects and Nicholas Lawrence via Facebook and am still currently waiting for their reply. I really want to perform this visual effect but have no clue in how the gimmick works. I can provide proof that I do own Revolve and truly appreciate anyone whom can help me access the tutorial video. I hope everyone is doing well indoors and stay safe everyone.
All the best, David

Try contacting them via their website. I have found them to be very responsive. Not all businesses monitor their Facebook page closely.

I have purchased this trick from Penguin, a couple of months ago. I love it. Now I need to make a blank version. And I am looking for the paper joint, a kind of very solid tape. Do you know the name of it? Where can I find it? Thanks for your help.
