No, not Tom and not John. Good guesses though.

14. The media named my style of writing as a "Medical Thriller."

Hmmm... Thought that last one would do it.

15. I enjoy using my novels not only to entertain, but also to teach the readers about current medical topics and dangers.

I know it can’t be Michael Crichton. Maybe Robin Cook? Or Oliver Sachs?

Ok Karnak, lets make it Robin Cook and call you the winner.

I really only had one more clue to offer.

16. As of today I have written 37 books.

I was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington.

I was born in 1950, making me now 70 years old.

My family had a morbid sense of humor, and my older brother used to play pranks on me, exploiting my fears of things like monsters under the bed by pouncing out from my closet at the right moment to scare the hell out of me. This sort of thing no doubt influenced my art, for which I am rightly famous today.

Neither Clive nor Charles.

I launched my career as a cartoonist in the 1970s.

My single-panel cartoon series was syndicated internationally to more than 1900 newspapers for fifteen years.

The series ended with my retirement in 1995.

Not Lou. Since this is my first time, do I have to post three more clues for every guess, or can I post as many new clues as I like, after 2 or 3 guesses?

You can go with one or sometimes more clues at a time, either after a guess or two, or after an amount of time. Either way works. My opinion.

4) he gained some fame in 1937 for his reporting of a major flood of the Ohio River from a radio station in Louisville where he was working at the time.
5)Before moving to California, he worked as a radio and TV personality in Buffalo (my home town!) and Rochester.

No, sorry, not the Wolfman or Paul Harvey!

6) In the 60s, he appeared on The Munsters, The Monkees, and Bewitched

7) Not yet in the big time, he also delivered Christmas mail and phonebooks, and managed an apartment building in North Hollywood.

9) Another "day job" (as in, don't quit your) was as a security guard for the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team.
