I thought of guessing him, Cliff ... but I couldn't think of his name.
Who knows? You may be right! |

PT Barnum is right!
What a wild life he had. And his second wife was 40 years younger than he was. Many more accomplishments than I ever realized before: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P._T._Barnum

Interesting bit of trivia indirectly related to P.T. Barnum.
Around 1890 or so a ne'er do well fellow named Daniel David Palmer made a name for himself...sort of. Palmer had a series of useless jobs that never took him anywhere. His greatest claim to fame would have been that he sold fish for a living. But he got lucky, and it was little more than dumb luck, when he somehow passed himself off as a doctor who practiced "magnetic" healing. Perhaps he would have remained as quack doctor, one of many at the time, long before the AMA began regulating medical licenses, but Harvey Lillard came into his life. Harvey was the janitor at the building where Palmer had his office. Harvey was also extremely hard of hearing. Palmer asked how Lillard lost his hearing, and got the answer that he was bending over his bucket of cleaning soap and heard a "pop" in his neck. after that he could barely hear. Palmer examined him and found an odd bump at the base of Harvey's neck. pushing on the bump (probably blindly) Palmer gave Lillard the world's first Chiropractic adjustment. The adjustment took pressure off the nerve and Harvey's hearing was restored. Palmer had just become the world's first modern day Chiropractor. Palmer grew popular in his town (somewhere in Iowa.) The thing is, Palmer had little charisma and no business sense, and Chiropractic might have died with him if not for his son B.J. (Bartlett Jamison) Palmer. B.J. smelled money and being a prize huckster, he had all the skills his father lacked. How to best describe B.J. in a way that all will understand? P.T. Barnum was his best friend. What more do you need to know.

I still recall the day I met Beaker from the Muppets. He said to me "Meep, meep, mee mee mee Meep!", and that has made all the difference.

ROTFL. No, not our host here at the Café.
4. I am short. I almost always look up to the people I work with. I took to wearing platform shoes to level the issue.

Weird, I thought I answered last night, but the answer never posted...
Nope, not 4'10" Danny DeVito. 7. I was married once briefly. I married for the wrong reasons and it did not last long.

8. I can strum a few chords on the guitar, I can play a few notes on the piano. Playing instruments is not my thing, yet I write some amazing songs.

There we are Bill. Tis Stevie indeed.
10. I have been through rehab twice, once for cocaine and once for pills, yet my career never burned out like many other rockers did. 11. I am known for my large eyes and distinctive voice. 12. My way of dressing, combined with words of a song I wrote led to the idea that I was a witch. (I say I am not) 13. My then-boyfriend and I were hired into a band at the same time, and our popularity soared. 14. In the 70's it was suggested that I would drink nothing but champaign. 15. I once teamed up with Tom Petty. 16. My solo career maybe even more successful than my band career. 17. The band I was in, was named for the rythem section... Drumer and bass player.
