Anybody here besides myself intrigued by unexplained phenomenon?

I’m continually Googling and searching Y’tube...scouring the internet to know the unknowable.

Time travel, parallel universes, portals...you name it, I’ve seen it all but am ever hungry for more. This kind of appetite can never be satisfied.

Today I heard about the Lordsburg door / gate for the first time. Fascinating! Seems to be a portal of some kind. I’m going to dig into it deeper.

Remember all those block/cube items in the magic catalog? Look at these cubes. Almost like the cubes in the Marvel movies and the mother boxes in the DCU. Storytime! Smile

Calling

All men know of Pegasus – at least of the yearned journey. You know – the jaunt from then to when where “what was” mates with everbe. But few know how to call on that winged image of fancy. For that, one must know the why of it and the Calling. Aye, my friend, it has always been so. Fine words have no power without the kiss of relevance, and a secret portal is but an oaken door without the song.

One problem is that your vain desire places no obligation on the universe. Why should any wish to be far and on be granted if you do not know where you are right now? The Calling is grounded in cherish and an appreciation of living. You must have the knowledge and whimsy of the bard, the courage and tremble of the blooded knight, and the crone’s appreciation of today’s wonder. Only then might awesome Pegasus prepare to heed your command, wait patiently for the Calling you must voice in heart song. Such learning will come to you in the Whispers of the Mountain and Murmurs of the Sea.

This is not a forbidding challenge or fairytale quest. The answers have already come to you in truth, but you did not listen. That is all the clue you need. Or you can ask the next stranger you meet (as opposed to relying on self-serving friends). He or she might know the Calling but be searching for the Portal you have access to. No one ever said that Pegasus cannot carry two as well as one. Consider for a moment that those who did travel so never returned for the telling. At least, they were not the same upon the return and had no need to share that which you would never understand.

Or you can be content where you are right now.
After all, the grand journey would have no value if some did not choose to stay.
Yes, the flower tells of the seed and the luscious fruit of the soil. Thus, the soil and seed also tell a story perhaps more true and vital.

I envy that person who knows of the Calling and secret Portals but chooses to remain here and now and always.
