Can always count on Mr Oslund to jump in with some completely irrelevant information dating back to the 50s.
It's on every thread in every section. What does goofy stage silk magic have to do with a question about table hopping in 2019? You're suggesting someone carry around all the stuff needed for The Lazy Magician and do that in walkaround? The material you suggested on the previous page would DIE A DEATH if you tried to present it in closeup in 2019. People don't want to watch Mark Wilson or Doug Henning style over-the-top presentations with gaudy props and handkerchiefs anymore. NO ONE does that stuff in walkaround/hospitality situations. It's not the 1950s anymore. |

Dick, as helpful as always, replied with some helpful suggestions. Use Silks, multiplying balls, and rope/ring. He even provided suggested routines. There was no gaudy over the top suggestions. And, contrary to your belief, silks work wonders. I use a simple silk production from Tarbell (from the 1920's) that kills! I'm also constantly referring back to Mark Wilson for routines and ideas. You were off base here.
