Eric’s always entertaining and this was no exception. I loved it. Penn was right about the laughs. The journey prevails again. Good job ERIC.

As a few commented on the YouTube video I also loved " Have a nice day " exit line at the very end Confident, clever and what a voice! Also loved the fact that he was the complete opposite of the majority of acts who perform on the show. No little cheesy jokes, cringe hack lines or just general awkwardness. As we would say here in Ireland the man is well able! Great performance and a big congrats in representing yourself and us in such a good light.

I fully agree with the praise! Execution was excellent, I didn’t cringe as I often do when performers start talking on this show. Really good humor, genuinely funny!
Splendid job, Eric! Seth |

Nice piece of mental magic... not quite mentalism in my book, but that’s me.

Nice of you to pop in for a back-handed compliment. Good thing he wasn't performing for you.

It was marvelously written and executed. Extremely entertaining. I'm not sure who was fooled but that's really not the point is it?

I agree. It's a sore spot from most everyone here's position. There hasn't been much actual mentalism here in years.

Entertaining, engaging, and a great routine for TV as well as a corporate audience. Eric was interesting to watch. I can see why he is a great success in the corporate world. Really well done.

MindPro seemed to think that I was insulting Eric and called my post a "back-handed compliment" but it wasn't. There's nothing wrong with mental magic, it isn't inferior than mentalism, it's just different. I think having an awareness of the difference is beneficial but if you don't that's fine too. Eric's routine was a great piece of mental magic and very well executed, but P&T referenced it as mentalism and I didn't really think that was precise. No big deal... unless you're MindPro who loves to argue with everything I say for some reason. |

Eric showed how mentalism can be engaging, funny and mindblowing at the same time. Really fun to see. I hope he can do a penguin lecture some time. I heard his lecture at Mindvention was great.

This was incredibly entertaining. Is it going to be marketed?

Amazing presentation. I belive this is used John Mortons Icon trick. That's a hidden gem of a trick, however Eric has done what he always does and makes a brilliant routine and performance

Just found this thread...quite late to the party!
But I wanted to thank everyone for the kind remarks. This was a routine that I created for my stage show "Eric Samuels: Liar!" which had a different reveal. I ended up modifying it for TV/P&T. On another note, I have to say - they have an amazing crew to work in Vegas with and treat their performers well! Cheers! Eric |
