Bob G-- sorry I took so long getting back to you. In the book Focus I like Immediate Aces and Jumping Bean Aces. Both are more like jazz aces, and also very magical and no gimmicks.

Thanks, fonda57. Not a problem -- humans aren't as fast as the technology we've created. I'll look those up; in my browsing I didn't come across those titles. "Jumping Bean Aces" is such a great title that I don't even care what the effect is!
