Lmao. No mention of the fact that 3 perfect faros are required to perform this.

That was like watching paint dry. I'm sure Jason has came leaps and bounds in his performance since this was filmed but the whole "What I'm going to do.." descriptive patter is painful.

Learn Apex Aces by Harry Lorayne for a much easier to do, more entertaining routine.

I’d rather watch paint dry if I’m honest

This is from Jason's Confident Deceptions DVD set. It is an odd choice as it is one of the less interesting effects -- there are many better ones on that set in my opinion.

Collector tricks are usually portrayed as magic -- look, I cut the Aces into the deck and they magically find your selections. Here it is portrayed as a skill -- which it is -- he places the aces and the selections where he wants so that they end up together after 3 perfect faros. I imagine some spectators can figure this out.

Jason is very skilled at shuffling, both perfect faros and riffle shuffling. Too many of his tricks rely on perfect faros, often more than one. Confident Deceptions and his Game Changer book are riddled with them. But I find his effects that don't use faros are often stronger.

You’ll never please hobbyists.
Whenever I find myself gripping anything too tightly I just ask myself "How would Guy Hollingworth hold this?"

I'm a working magician (not a hobbyist) and have been for over twenty years. I found this trick weak and wondered if it was just me. Seems it isn't.

The weakest part for me was asking the specs to put the card "around here" while clearly only letting them put them exactly where he wanted them. Even if I'm not correct, the problem is that that is what it looks like.

Correction, you’ll never please hobbyists with this effect, and Magic Mike the Florida guy who does magic.
