I Thought I'd share with you my first effect in a few years, and my first video project.
PSYNC is something that cuts across genres. It could be framed as magic, mentalism, suggestion, or something completely different. You'll see why. The obligatory: No strings No magnets No helper monkeys Rather it's about genuine human connection and engagement. It is reliable thanks to a wonderful layering of psychological principles, simple enough to learn quickly. Check it out in action. In the basic version of the method, a spectator finds their own card in an unusual way: their hand is inexplicably drawn to it. And of course with that as the beginning the possibilities of this are endless. -Aaron. |

I watched the intro videos and I'm intrigued and really looking forward to this. This sounds exactly up my alley.
A little bit of an investment, but the pre-order price is like half off, so I may have to jump on that. I'm a little skeptical of the 'No monkeys' part though... as it doesn't say 'no primates', I'm concerned it might rely on a baboon or gibbon or something and it's just playing semantics...

Certainly sounds very interesting...I think I'd be tempted too, but I don't think I'm in quite the right mindset for this right now...
I hope it brings you and the purchasers what you intend it to!

This is getting pretty close to exposure so I wouldn't be surprised if this thread gets deleted. In all seriousness this looks really cool.

To be clear, I was only saying no helper monkeys are needed. Technically it doesn't work at all without at least 2 primates involved.
Speaking to Last Laugh on how it's a bit of an investment: I find it interesting how we valuate things. I have this suspicion that if I could sell a gadget that did this exact effect half as well, nobody would blink at paying $2K for it at least, until the next iOS update makes it nonfunctional right before a big gig. That's honestly a big part of why I'm sharing this. We're leaning more on gadgets and gimmicks and less on human connection these days, in magic and everywhere else. There's more money in selling the gizmos, but we need the connection more than ever. |

Forever pieces that suit you are priceless, and PSYNC should be a good test of whether this sort of thing is for you. |

Yes before the price doubles on the 24th!
At the beginning is there some form of card control? Sorry I don't know your early works.

It's a pre-order, the product isn't released until the 24th.
Seeing the reactions from James Brown and Jan Becker, I also took the plunge.

The reactions from James brown and Jan Becker are the true selling points here. I'd like to order before the preorder window closes, but I have a question:
This is primarily psychological, right? What is the hit rate? just trying to wrap my head around this. The reactions are great, but $55 is a lot of money. |

I know it is a trust thing - but I am trusting its as good as James is making out. I suspect if his reactions on things like this were overhyped then there would be more negative posts on here. Thanks, guys - I'll try and give some time to review it after the 24th. |

In which case I expect the hit rate will be very high, particularly if the routine includes quietly testing your subject without them realising it. I’ve done stuff like this before and it’s a load of fun and very effective. I’ll be getting this release as it looks like a highly refined version of stuff I’ve tried (or it could be completely different in which case even better!) |

$55 is a lot of money if you have doubts, and an absolute steal if you don't. If you know my stuff and like it or if this really speaks to you, I'm happy to have you on board at a discount.
Bridge and The Ant Queen are good examples of how to structure "psychological" routines to be completely reliable. They came out 5+ years ago and pros still use them daily. Or, since we're speculating, it looks like helper monkeys to me. |
