This newly released hard bound (with slipcover) 300 page book is subtitled "a definitive collection of original bizarre magick and esoteric mentalism," and is dedicated to Masklyn ye Mage, Kardor, Tony Raven, Brother Shadow, and all our other brothers who have gone before us. Charles Lambert, a/k/a Mazarian Arathorn, was one of the early pioneers of bizarre magick and a dear friend to Tony Andruzzi. The book includes old and new bizarre and mental routines (including some from the collectible and rare book and scroll of Masklyn ye Mage) along with different ways to make your magic performances meaningful and uplifting. Great stuff and a beautifully designed book!

That looks fantastic. I knew such a book was in the works and was ready to purchase at some point. After seeing your post Intrepid I had to go ahead and order. Thanks for the heads up.

The titles don't really tell much of what the effect is. Hopefully there will be a short review that describes some of the effects.

How to shoot a arrow at your blindfolded significant other and she dodges it before it strikes her. And I have personally witnessed it being performed at an early Invocation. Also good early info about the birth of the Bizarre movement.

Thanks TEB3. It sounds more like carnies magic, I was hoping for more along the lines of ancients/druid type effects

OK, here's a brief description of some of the contents from Stevens Magic site

Learn from the mist-shrouded towers of Dragon-Fire Castle, the Ancient One invites you to enjoy the early days of bizarre magick with classical ‘old school’ effects of his from the fabled Grimoire of the Mages, the legendary Scroll of Masklyn ye Mage and Invocation magazine, etc.

In addition, he reveals how to …

Cause a wooden stake to burst into flame with an ancient incantation.
Overcome a deomonic creature that visibly flies for your throat!
Heal others pain with yoru energy flow.
Bend a beam of light with your bare hands!
And much more within the 300 pages!
