Hey fellas,
I've been lurking on this forum for a while and just decided to finally subscribe. I'm an amateur magician and I really enjoy learning and practicing this great art and my curiosity brought me here a couple of years ago. I'm teached by well-known magician in the MTL-area and I'm willing to improve my skills and knowledge and maybe, start doing contracts in a near future! Hope to interact with you soon! Cheers! Jay |

Hello Jay. Do you have a particular area in magic that you love to learn and practice, like, cards or coin magic, or something else? Are you hoping to do some shows very soon?
You are very lucky to have someone teaching you. I wish I knew a magician in my town. Welcome! . . What do you mean you don't read? . You need to read FITZKEE - Dick Oslund, 2019. |

Thanks guys for the warm welcome!
@HofzingersFan my main and favourite area would be cards and coins. I try to perfect my coin magic techniques so I'll be able to do some tricks and routine flawlessly. My sister also booked my for a kids Borthday party, so I'll have to come up with something as I've never really performed for kids. I'm sure I'll find a lot of information on this invaluable forum. |

Welcome TheRipper,
(Disgusting name) I lurked a while myself. I think it is prudent. How old are the Kids at the Birthday Party? I see it's been a while since your post. Has the party happened? How did it go? -Mary Mowder |

Ahh kids magic. I love showing kids a trick or two but I don't know many that are visual enough. You'll definitely get that information here as there's a whole section for it. It's something I plan to branch into once I've got a basic feel for magic in general and not just cards and coins, which is where I am too.
