Can anyone point me in the direction of a source for methods of producing a full glass of liquid (water, wine, etc) from the straightjacket at the finale of the escape?

Not sure any of the irregular regulars on here would/do or do it.

A full glass of liquid production- Brad Manuel has a great glass production that is very very robust - may even survive Ken Dean thrashing about on top of it for 5 minutes whilst he energetically gets the SJ off.

I'm not sure why 'you' would want to produce a glass of liquid at the end of an escape - makes it more magic than escape. In which case why bother with a "legitimate" escape of a SJ in the first place? But I don't know you or where you work/what type of gigs you do so I can't really comment on the need for the glass. I'll have a look in my library of escapes books but I am 99% sure I won't find anything about full glass productions in them.

DO you have anywhere you can load from? Will it just be you on the stage/suspended any tables, assistants etc etc?

There are various reasons to do this. It must fit your character though. One of the simplest methods is a ballon stretched over the mouth of the glass. The glass doesn’t need to be completely full. Just enough that the audience can see liquid(not clear liquid) and that it pours.

Hope that helps.
