This is perhaps the cleanest and most brilliant coin vanish I've ever seen in the spectator's open hand. It's like he's using an invisible raven lol Is this effect on the market ? May anyone please guide me to where I can learn this effect from, assuming its a mass marketed effect/DVD/book ? --Note: I understand this performer is notorious for stooges and camera tricks, but this coin vanish seems very clean and realistic, which I believe can be achieved as seen in real time like so. Thank you |

I think this version is called the prayer Raven. You have to pray a lot preshow and it just happens when it does.

Just an improvement or twist on the R....n. I won't elaborate. Hands can be shown empty there too.

Yes. I can do The Raven in short sleeves. His is slightly further up the arm...

I don't use these devices, yet I've read/seen ways that the active part could be brought into play.

Hi CameraTricks, I mentioned a modified Raven. I am not talking about something you buy. You have to think about what you would change to make the black bird invisible, in this position.
But if you don't want to bother, you could always just use Camera tricks, like your name hehe. |

Look in older books and check what you wish to believe against what is clearly shown.
The coin vanish is at about 030, but this is not secret sessions...

For all of us who did not notice "what is clearly shown" I ask, for clarity's sake, for Mr. Townsend to supply a video of him doing this.
If one does not use a stooge with a great deep b. cl..p, then I still doubt it is so clear, other than some of the explanations above. So please, merely for instructional purposes, supply this. |

Well....I KNOW that this one handed coin vanish will top all in regards to the sole presentation of it.
https://www.instagram.com/p/B6VJhBQnHhA/?igshid=9aq1279ygnq9 What do you guys think? Is this up for sale? I heard that someone from Reddit reverse engineered it and then claimed that it wasn't his effect but didn't even give credit to the creator. A bit hypocritical in my opinion...oh well! Best of luck to the one that can shed some light on this! Such an amazing vanish! |

Something to do with the background. Similar to black art. The coin is dumped behind a panel that looks like part of the background, but is not, is actually forward from the background. This is a guess. It wouldn't work live. And it's sort of, so what?

I did expect to receive backlash from this in the Café. I was looking to see if this was practical...guess not. I was comparing this to Hidden Hand by Sean Fields. But now that video editing or 'black art' concept is probably used to achieve this...count me out.
