The gravitational mechanism is something different. BTW, does anyone know why it comes with different colors - white, green, blue, and red? Is that the color of the smoke??
https://www.mjmmagic.com/store/smoggler-......440.html Ad copy: After numerous tests and constant refining, we have finally released Smoggler L. We are excited to bring you the most handy and versatile smoke device with the best quality for real-life magic workers. Its teeny tiny bit of volume makes it highly adaptable to a variety of performing environments, imperceptible to the audience, and comfortable for use. There is a wide range of possibilities for its settings: wristbands, card mats, shirt collars, you name it. Your imagination is the limit! The remote control of Smoggler L is the highlight. It functions in two different mechanisms. You can either press the remote control to switch on and off, or simply attach it onto your clothes, slightly tilt your arms to let the gravity do the job. The gravitational mechanism keeps hands free and mind concentrated. The switch-on movement can be easily choreographed into any routine to enhance the naturalness and flow of your art. "Get your Smoggler L. Get ready to fire." |

The reviews on Penguin and by Mr Effecto speak for themselves. Leave well alone.

I bought one last year and it unfortunately MELTED. That's right...the heating mechanics did not work well at all. I followed instructions on not having it on for more than 5 seconds (I only tested it in 2 second intervals). I personally don't recommend.
Music is meaningless if it cannot be FELT be cannot it if meaningless is magic.

It sounds really bad. The instruction tells you that you can't have it on for more than 5 seconds?! (or 2 seconds in reality??)
Good that we are looking after each other here. |

If you want something like this google “eGo mini smoke device” sold from various Chinese sites. I picked up one from China Magic at a convention. They’re pretty cool and reliable.

I don't know if they upgraded the smoke part but the light it's not a plus for me ... make it seem less magical and more electronics |

In case anyone is still tempted, do not buy this. Mine never did gush a lot of smoke and when I added glycerine (just one drop) I had to wait some time before it would work again. Within two months, the battery started to fail and would only hold a charge for 1-2 hours. A week later, this dropped to a matter of one minute and by then the issue of smoke was hardly detectable. There was no point in returning the product. Even though I had treated it with 'kid gloves' (never pressing the 'go' button for more than three seconds), there was some scorching to the casing by the coil and I can imagine Cigma claiming mistreatment on my part. This expensive piece of kit appealed to me because of its remote gravity switch but I must say that 'Nothing' by Wenzi Magic is far far superior (more robust and if I recall correctly, cheaper). My Smoggler L goes in the rubbish bin tonight>

Further to my earlier comment, Smoggler cost me about 50% more than 'Nothing' by Wenzi Magic - no contest!
