I think the name on the box really isn't a problem. DMC's have 'DMC elite' on the box, and a google of this shows them to be marked. I've been using them since the black decks came out and have never seen anyone google the name.

Partly the red/black aspect of them and secondly that they are plastic which may not be quite as well suited to magicians who may want to use these for card sleights. Having said that these faro like butter. Not sure how good these would be for palming and other sleights though. These definitely won’t Mercury Smile

I reviewed the night flight deck on the latest episode of my review show. My son Ryland also performs a routine with them.

They are the best marked deck I have ever seen.

Here’s a link to the review

I've had these for about a month now myself (they seem sold out in a lot of places, but I got them direct from Steve) and I agree that they are excellent. I wouldn't call them "the best" marked deck I've seen, but they're very, very good. The markings are easy to see and well hidden, and unlike nearly every other plastic deck I've tried, these handle nicely (most other decks don't fan or spread well -- this one does, which surprised me because the cards felt *smoother* than a normal deck, and even smoother than other plastic decks I've tried). So, you give up a tiny bit compared to some other marked decks, but since they're plastic and will last forever, I'm super happy with the Night Flights.

I know some were concerned with the name, but doesn't seem like an issue at all. Honestly, unless you're performing for people obsessed with cards, just glancing at them, they look like blue Bikes and most people will mentally assume that that's what they are.

My vision is not great...will I be able to easily read the marking?

Well, that depends on just how "not great" your vision is. But, yeah, I'd say these marks are pretty clear. You don't have to take my word for it, Steve reveals how the markings work on his own site, so you can see for yourself: https://www.etsy.com/listing/754320649/n......eve-dela The markings are very big and easy to read, and are designed into the design of the deck, so you shouldn't have any fear of people spotting them. They're certainly pricey, but I figure it's almost like buying a brick since they'll probably last as long as a full brick of regular cards.

Just watched Craig's review and that's precisely one of the reasons he liked the deck so much. He said he struggled with Gypsy Queen (as an example) but didn't have a problem with these.

Good to see this thread revived. The Night Flight Deck is very good with the markings clear and well concealed. With my sight sadly not as sharp as it once was, I do have to be careful in what I use and have absolutely no problem in reading the deck. Highly recommended.

They were on sale at Vanishing Inc. a few months ago and I may have stocked up on a few extra decks... But my original Night Flight deck is still going strong, and remains my go to deck.
