I used to own a large driebeck die. I wish I never sold it. Now I want one.
Is there anything similar to it on the market? Thanks, |

Yes there is a black and red box set made from India, called Gozinta Box, sells for around $12.00. You can attach stick on spots from Office Depot.
Stevens Magic sells the original Bob Driebeck version, they now have it in 3 different sizes. Pull Harris has also made a version using the name of the original inventor. None are now made in plastic like the original Ken Brooke offering, they are all cardboard. A guy wrote a PDF book on how to make them as well, without permission. |

Stevens Magic has a mini version available. It's not large enough for a theater. The large version is listed but out of stock. Maybe you could check with them to see if any more will be made.
I discovered I could do the the Tenyo Parabox routine with the mini using 6" sponge balls. I still don't have a sensible presentation for the combination. |

I substituted something else for my routine idea. Thanks.

I actually have one built many years ago from cardboard and contact paper by Jonathan Neal and it is unsurprisingly perfect!

I know I made one for myself many years ago... I had forgotten that I made one for you! How big is it?

I think this is the original one you made, around 4" or so. You were going through one of your cleaning phases and asked me if I wanted it. It's a treasure!

Ok... you are right, my 'cleaning phases ' are notorious..lots of good stuff is given away, when I tire of having it around me!

It even has the holes and tabs on the bottoms... the usual beautiful work!

It is not that hard to make. You will need some heavy cardboard. Kind of like the boxes that are used to hold clothes.
