I am just now returning to card magic and struggling with getting my double lifts mainly catching a pinky break and pinky counts. Anyone want to help a soul out who is returning to card magic after being out of it for a long time

Reno, there are literally dozens of threads here that answer your question. I'm not trying to be unkind, but if you do a quick search, you can find a ton of helpful information. There is a lot of discussion and debate about whether you even need breaks or "get-readies". Personally, I use a 'Strike Double'. No breaks, works on full deck and packets just fine.
